We’re thrilled to announce that Kitsap County residents can now access in-person advocacy and therapy support at our new, centrally-located Bremerton office!
Since becoming the state-accredited sexual assault center for Kitsap County in July of last year, our team has been working diligently to find a secure location that is easily accessible to as many residents as possible. We’re proud to have found a perfect fit in just over 6-months.
In addition to the new office, we are also partnering with the Kitsap County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Kitsap Special Assault Investigation and Victim’s Services, and Kitsap County Superior Court to provide on-site support at the courthouse in Port Orchard. Advocates are available weekly to provide support to victim-survivors navigating the complex, and at times overwhelming, legal process as they attempt to seek justice against their offenders.
Currently, our Bremerton office consists of Advocate Janet Mora (pictured above, left) and Therapist Megan Selvage (pictured above, right), but we’re already planning for future expansion. Due to limited staffing, the location of the office will remain confidential for the time being.
