Expanding Care for Victim-survivors
We’re excited to announce that we’ve moved into our newly renovated building in Hilltop and have reopened in-person services to Pierce County clients! After a month of moving and working remotely, our entire team gathered for an orientation in early January (pictured above) to explore the space and start settling in. Everyone was excited to start setting up their new work spaces and to see first-hand all the ways that the new location will benefit the victim-survivors they serve.
On January 13, we officially reopened our doors to clients. This moment marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Rebuilding Hope. The expanded space allows us to better serve victim-survivors and their families through our in-person advocacy, therapy, and prevention education services.
So many people helped make this happen! We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who donated to our Home for the Holidays campaign in December; to our hardworking Administrative Team for going above and beyond to pack and move up our old office; and to our many community partners like Korsmo Construction, AE Workplace Services, and the Puyallup School District Office for keeping us on track with a tight deadline and for making contributions to the project.
While we’ve made great progress, we still have a long way to go to fully transform 723 MLK Jr. Way into the healing center we envision. Click here to learn more about how you can help us create a healing headquarters in Hilltop.
