We’ve officially reopened in our new home in Tacoma’s Hilltop neighborhood, marking a major milestone in our commitment to provide healing services to victim-survivors of sexual assault and prevention education to the community. After temporarily closing to facilitate our move from the Dome District, we are thrilled to welcome clients back in person to a space that is larger, more accessible, and better equipped to support recovery.

To celebrate this new chapter, we’re hosting an Open House on Wednesday, February 19, from 3-6 PM. We invite you to tour our new facility, learn more about our expanded services, and enjoy refreshments from local Hilltop businesses. Whether you’re a long-time supporter or just learning about Rebuilding Hope, we’d love to connect with you.
A Space Designed for Healing and Growth
Our new healing center nearly doubles our square footage, allowing us to expand vital services, including:
- Increased capacity for therapy, advocacy, and Sex Trafficking and Exploitation Program (STEP) clients.
- Easier access via public transportation, including bus and light rail, plus proximity to several local hospitals.
- Dedicated conference areas for victim-survivor group activities, educational workshops, and professional certification courses.
- Improved accessibility, with additional parking and fully equipped offices designed for individuals with disabilities.
- Greater visibility in the community, ensuring more people know where to turn for support.
But we’re not stopping there! Over the next few years, we plan to further develop the building with the addition of a client drop-in center, a dedicated youth area, a wellness center, and even a healing garden. These additions will be made possible through our Healing Headquarters Campaign, a $4.5 million fundraising effort dedicated to supporting the project.

The new space represents a huge step forward in our ability to serve victim-survivors with the dignity and care they deserve, while securing our role providing these critical programs in the community for decades to come.”
