Sip, Support, and Celebrate 50 Years of Hope with Us This April

April 2025 marks the 24th anniversary of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, a nationwide recognition and movement to end sexual violence. Every year, Rebuilding Hope sees this time as an opportunity to reach new folks who may not be familiar with our services while also reconnecting with YOU, the community that enables us to show up for victim-survivors each day. There are several ways that you can connect with us and show your support this month- from participating in free fundraising events to celebrating our 50th Anniversary at the 4th Annual Spring Soiree!

HOPE’n Mic Nights

Join us every Thursday in April from 6-8 pm at Kimball Coffeehouse in Gig Harbor for a night of talent, laughter, and community! Whether you’re a musician, comedian, poet, or juggler, the stage is yours.

There’s no cover charge and no fee to perform- just a welcoming space for artists of all kinds to share their talent. A portion of sales made for the night as well as through their month-long Spring Drink fundraiser will go towards our advocacy, therapy, and prevention education services to promote healing for victim-survivors and safer communities.

In addition to their wonderful selection of coffee, tea, sandwiches, wraps, and other treats, Kimball Coffeehouse also serves local beer and wine!

Thank you Kimball Coffeehouse for generously offering to host these events as part of their commitment to give back to the community. We hope you can make it to one or more HOPE’n Mic Nights!

Pints for Hope

Join us April 14, from 4-8pm, at Silver City Brewery’s Bremerton Taproom for Pints for Hope! From 4-8pm, $1 from every beer sold will benefit our programs and services for victim-survivors.

If you haven’t already checked them out- Silver City is a locally-owned and operated brewery with locations in Bremerton and Silverdale that offer a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. You’ll be able to taste from their wide variety of quality craft beers while supporting a great cause.

PLUS – all participants will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a one-year membership to the Bloedel Reserve– a breathtaking 140-acre nature preserve on Bainbridge Island!

Huge thanks to our friends at Silver City Brewing for their partnership in our mission to provide support, promote healing, and raise awareness for victim-survivors.

50th Anniversary Spring Soiree

In honor of April Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Rebuilding Hope’s 50th Anniversary, we invite you to join us for a groovy evening of joyful giving and celebration at our 4th annual Spring Soiree, 70’s glam style!

Step into a night of fun and nostalgia while enjoying stunning panoramic views of the Puget Sound. Try your luck at winning outta sight raffle prizes, bidding on far-out live auction items, and playing the always-fun game of Heads or Tails. We’re thrilled to welcome back Emcee and Fundraising Auctioneer Sasha Summer Cousineau to keep the night rolling!

This year’s gala-style event includes a full meal, hosted wine, beer, and non-alcoholic refreshments, and plenty of opportunities to participate in our raffle and live auction.

VIP tickets include complimentary champagne, mocktails, hors d’oeuvres, early access to the Waterview Terrace (weather dependent), valet parking (first come, first serve), and early access to raffle and auction previews.

Your support helps us provide 24/7 compassionate and trauma-informed services to victim-survivors and deliver education to the community that can prevent or disrupt sexual assault and abuse. With your help, Rebuilding Hope continues to make an impact across the Pierce & Kitsap region.
