It’s back-to-school season and we’re excited to showcase some of the amazing work our Education Team is doing in the community!
Our Prevention Advocates provide interactive, age-appropriate workshops for students from kindergarten through college, as well as parents and school staff in Pierce and Kitsap counties. Covering topics like consent, boundaries, healthy relationships, bystander intervention, and online safety, these sessions create space for open dialogue and skill-building.
We are proud to partner with schools and local organizations like the Boys and Girls Club of South Puget Sound and Pierce County Juvenile Court to reach youth in diverse settings. Most presentations are free, with flexible options for specialized requests, helping us build trust and safe spaces both in and outside the classroom.
During the 2024-2025 school year, we connected with 1,513 students and adults and dedicated over 115 hours to providing prevention education in 15 unique educational settings. We can’t wait to create more connections and educate more students and adults during the new school year!
