It’s April – and that means Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM) is here! Now celebrating its 25th anniversary as a nationally recognized event, SAAM is a very meaningful and a very busy time at Rebuilding Hope. We are so grateful for the opportunity to increase the visibility of our work, connect with new supporters, and raise funds to continue providing healing services. Throughout April, our friends at Wooden City Tacoma are hosting their Draft Old Fashioned fundraiser in support of our work. For every draft Old Fashioned enjoyed, $1 will benefit our programs and services. Located on Pacific Avenue in downtown Tacoma, Wooden City is known for great drinks, comforting American cuisine, and warm hospitality. We’ve participated in this fundraiser before, and we’re so thankful to team up again during SAAM. They open daily at 4pm and are a popular dinner spot, so reservations are encouraged!
On Friday, April 10, Raise Some Dough with MOD Pizza in University Place! 20% of your bill will support our programs and services. On Thursday April 16, our friends at SIlver City Brewery in Bremerton are hosting a Pint Night where $1 from every beer sold that evening will benefit us. Try their local craft beer at their Brewery & Taproom and give hope – one sip at a time!
On Friday, April 24 join us for our 5th Annual Spring Soiree! Experience an evening of joyful giving and celebration of hope and healing in the community. On Saturday, April 25, we are partnering with Wolf Heart Fit Co. for their annual Sweat for a Cause Fundraiser! Take part in a day rooted in movement, connection, & collective healing. Each ticket includes pre-work out activities, a one of a kind work out, and a post work out raffle for a cause! Food, drinks, and goodies included! A portion of the proceeds will support our services for victim-survivors. Purchase your ticket here.
On Tuesday, April 28th, close out SAAM with another slice at Fondi Pizzeria in Gig Harbor. Enjoy authentic wood-fired Neapolitan Pizza as well as paninis, salads, plus wine & cocktails. Mention Rebuilding Hope while you’re there from 4-8pm, and 20% of your purchase will go to Rebuilding Hope.
